The Career Development and Education (CDE) Committee oversees all training programs offered to DC COA members. The committee plans and conducts the bimonthly DC COA educational series which currently includes presentations on: the opioid epidemic and harm reduction strategies, how to design your LinkedIn page and leverage that resource, and the Veteran Affairs disability process panel discussion. The CDE also oversees the Training and Resource Guide Subcommittee whose duties are to research and organize training courses to meet DC COA officers' career development and educational needs.
