Volunteers for Cherry Blossom 10 miler

Greetings Officers, 

HELP needed! The Cherry Blossom Run has requested extra hands for their event 6-APR-2025. Volunteers are needed throughout the main event grounds on the National Mall (base of the Washington Monument).

Due to the PHS turn out at the Army Ten Miler, the Cherry Blossom run organizers are hoping volunteers from USPHS will fill their needs to support the appx 20,000 runners expected to complete the 10-mile course throughout downtown DC. What better way could you appreciate the Cherry Blossom festival than Sunday with runners, exuding endorphins, completing a fitness activity, and among fellow USPHS officers?

Location: 130 17th St NW, Washington, DC 20006 (Washington National Monument grounds)

Attire: Volunteer provided shirts

Volunteers will be asked to assist with all matter of work but will generally be helping with bag check duties.
